The official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 pc system requirements have been revealed, which might make PC users want to upgrade their rigs after reading them.
Game developer GSC Game World previously released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming shooter but at that time only a few details were shared. Today, new information got released which included the PC system requirements and the various editions fans and new players can preorder.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 PC System Requirement is Heavy
First up are the PC system requirements that might make the average PC gamer rethink buying or installing it before getting an upgrade. While the minimum requirements are not that bad with the processor only needing Intel Core i5-7600K and the memory being only 8 GB, the disc space required is where they might get hesitant. The game needs AT LEAST 150 GB and while it did not specify it would require the type, it seems GSC Game World is totally recommending PC players to use SSD-type storage.
Why the specific type of storage? From what we can get from this list, it seems the size of the resources are quite large that it needs fast processing and an SSD would do that easily.
