Game developer Aspyr has shared some news about the release of upcoming video game Star Wars Episode I: Racer.

Star Wars Episode I: Racer delayed

Aspyr revealed that due to the ongoing work from home requirements across the industry, both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the anticipated racer game will be delayed. They did not specify any new release date for the game, so everyone will have to wait for them to update with some new information.

We are so excited to share Star Wars Episode l: Racer with you soon! Unfortunately, due to the ongoing work from home requirements across the industry, the game will be further delayed on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. We’ll be back with an update as soon as possible.

Most of the gaming companies right now are affected with the COVID-19 pandemic, which is why delays are not actually surprising anymore. This is very understandable due to the conditions everyone is living in whether in lax community quarantine or strict hard lockdown.
