Star Wars Jedi Survivor Cal Move Set Not Going Back to Zero

Players of Star Wars Jedi Survivor will not have to worry about Cal Kestis’ move set going back to Padawan levels when playing the game.

Design Director Jeff Magers recently spoke with Tech Raptor in an interview talking about the game mechanics of the upcoming video game Star Wars Jedi Survivor. While many of them are very desirable and worth the wait, there are some fans that are worried that they will be forced to play as Cal back at Padawan levels again since it is a new game. Magers assured this is not the case.

“We didn’t want to do a thing where we reset Cal back to a Padawan or something – he’s evolving,” Magers said.

Cal will definitely be not on the Padawan level at the start because he will still be on the same level at the end of Fallen Order. He will start out with the same move set but in Survivor, his abilities will now evolve even further. Gameplay videos have shown that he has new moves now in the sequel, but it was not confirmed if he did have his previous complete moveset after the end of Fallen Order. Magers just confirmed it with this statement.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor launches on April 28, 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
