Electronic Arts, Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games have officially announced Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor Rumor Now True
After several rumors and leaks were shared online, it has finally been confirmed. This will be the official name of the sequel for Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. The one at the helm of this sequel is Game Director Stig Asmussen and Cal Kestis is coming back as the main character. This will be set five years after the events of Fallen Order.
Lightsaber Gone, Mysterious Figure Help?
Kestis and his droid companion BD-1 are still on the run from the Empire. The only problem is, the Empire has gotten hold of his lightsaber and he seems to be in need of desperate help. He is then seen looking at an advanced Bacta tank and inside is a mysterious figure who could help him get back his weapon.
Only Next Gen
According to Asmussen in an interview, Star Wars Jedi Survivor will offer ray tracing, fast loading, and possibly PS5 next-gen features. The development team is currently researching on the DualSense’s unique features like haptic feedback and more.
Launch Window Confirmed
No specific date has been revealed, but a launch window was announced. Star Wars Jedi Survivor will be released in 2023. It will be next-gen only, which means it is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
