It was recently confirmed that Stardew Valley 1.5 mobile update has been delayed slightly.
Eric “Concerned Ape” Barone recently took to his Twitter account to share some news about the upcoming Stardew Valley 1.5 mobile update release in 2022. He confirmed that it will not be released this year and has to be pushed back just slightly. The new expected release window is now early January 2023.
The developer notes that he and his team will need 1 more week to make this new update work.
In his new post, Barone acknowledges that the team could release the update right now but the extra time he needs will go to ensuring quality. He also takes full responsibility for not hitting the original target release, which was supposed to be the end of the year.
Stardew Valley is now available on Android and iOS devices. It is also available on other platforms like Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, and PC.
