Stardew Valley Update 1.5 Now Submitted for Console Certification

Stardew Valley

Game developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone recently shared an update on what is happening with the upcoming patch 1.5 for popular game Stardew Valley.

According to the developer, the update has been submitted for console certification. This would mean that the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions will be getting the update soon. Update 1.5 was only available on the PC version so the console players had to wait for this to be released.

ConcernedApe shared that he cannot guarantee the specific release date, but it should be soon. He thinks that it could be late this month or early next month. Either way, console players will finally get the chance to try out this major update that introduces a lot of content like local split-screen co-op, the new beach-themed farm layout, and more.

Stardew Valley is now available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
