Bethesda Games Studios has officially confirmed Starfield New Game Plus.
Starfield New Game Plus Confirmed
The developers have confirmed that players will be able to complete the game, keep their stats, level, weapons and gear, and bring that all back to the start of the game again with a new game save. Players would be able to overpower their enemies at beginner levels due to their high levels and top-notch gear.
Starfield’s Long Development
In an interview with GQ, Bethesda’s Todd Howard confirmed this mode for players who can complete the game. He also discussed Starfield’s massive eight-year development.
“I thought we would find the answers faster,” Howard said. “When you’re making a lot of content, and you can’t see the work on the screen, it’s really hard.”
The Elder Scrolls 6 Small Teaser
Howard also talked about The Elder Scrolls 6, which was announced so many years ago but still no news on its release date. He was asked if he regrets revealing the game with a teaser.
“I have asked myself that a lot,” Howard said. “I don’t know. I probably would’ve announced it more casually.”
“We want it to fill that role of the ultimate fantasy-world simulator,” Howard continued. “And there are different ways to accomplish that given the time that has passed.”
Starfield launches on September 6, 2023 on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
