Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced the next State of Play event for this month.
The next State of Play this month will focus on the upcoming and one of the most anticipated video games of the year: Final Fantasy XVI. Many fans around the world have eagerly awaited details on the game’s dark fantasy setting, the powerful Eikons and Dominants who house them, and the battle system they teased.
This week’s upcoming State of Play event will be a deep dive into all of these details and more. Viewers can tune in live on Twitch or YouTube this coming Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2 PM PT/ 5 PM ET/ 11 PM CEST. This is to prepare for the launch of the game on PS5 this coming June 22, 2023. It is expected to be more than 20 minutes.
The announcement does not mention any other games, so expect Final Fantasy XVI to be the only focus during the event. There could be other announcements, but the chances of that happening are low.
