Masu is one of the various fish that can be caught in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Not to be confused with the King Masu, this small fish is one of the easiest ones to catch, but they only spawn at a certain location in the valley. Masu Fishing Location
Masu can be caught in the Upper River area where the waterfall is and where the Dig Site can be located.
How to catch a Masu
Masu can be caught using the Basic Fishing Rod. Like with every species of fish, four different sizes of Masu can be caught:
- Lil – 25G
- Regular – 30G
- Large – 60G
- Huge – 90G
Uses of Masu
Masu can be used as a cheap ingredient in dishes like Carpaccio, Fish Stew, or Sashimi.
Masu is also one of the fishes needed in certain bulletin board requests, such as:
- Requesting: Seasonal Masu – On Year 2, Carter will request x1 Masu (any size) and reward x5 Aromatic Herbs for it.
- Can Anyone Get Fresh Masu? – On Year 3, Tei will request x1 Masu (any size) and reward x2 Brown Milk (A) for it.
