The Amur Catfish is one of the fishes that can be caught in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. It’s one of the popular catches in the valley and a staple food for the locals. Read ahead as we talk about the Amur Catfish and where to catch one in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

    Amur Catfish Fishing Location

Amur Catfish can be caught at the Turtle Pond located behind Lei-Over Inn, north of the beach, and east of Gordy’s workshop.

How to catch an Amur Catfish

To catch an Amur Catfish, equip your Copper Fishing Rod. Like with every species of fish, four different sizes of Amur Catfish can be caught:

    • Lil – 35G
    • Regular – 55G
    • Large – 90G
    • Huge – 140G

    Uses of Amur Catfish

Amur Catfish can be used as an ingredient in dishes like Carpaccio, Fish Stew, or Sashimi, but it is best saved to cook the Kabayaki Grilled Fish.

Amur Catfish is also one of the fishes needed in certain bulletin board requests, such as:

    • Whiskered Fish is Wanted! – On Year 2, Pui will request x1 Amur Catfish (any size) and reward x5 Huddle Herbs for it.
    • The Catfish’s Meow – On Year 3, Sully will request x1 Amur Catfish (any size) and reward x2 Milk (A) for it.

Check out our Fishing guide where we share the locations of all the other fishes in the game.
