There are a total of three mini games in SoS: AWL, which are as follows:
- Territory Game
- Gravestone Cleanup
- Order Up
Territory Game
To play the Territory Game, head over to Charlie and Cole’s house whenever they are inside. At first, you could get to play against Charlie, but you will eventually be able to go against Cole as you progress through the game.
The objective of this game is to place sticks on the game board and surround an empty space to convert it into your territory. You need to place a minimum of three sticks to create a triangle to claim the land, but you can also enclose multiple lands if you can manage to do so. Your opponent will also be claiming land as you take turns laying down sticks. Any claimed land will then turn into your respective color and can no longer be reclaimed.
One mechanic of this game that you can take advantage of is enclosing your opponent’s sticks whenever you can, as this will disable the stick as it gets claimed. One strategy to win this game is to set up to cover a larger area rather than going for individual cells.
Territory Game Rewards
These are the rewards that you can get whenever you win a game; the value of the rewards go higher the more wins you acquire throughout your save file:
- 1 to 9 wins – Moonlight Ore
- 10 wins – 64 memories Music Record
- 11 to 30 wins – Sugarstar Ore
- 31 to 80 wins – Hexagonal Ore
- 81 to 200 wins – Mete-Ore
- 201 or more wins – Millennium Ore
Gravestone Cleanup
The Gravestone Cleanup is available from Year 2 onward. To play the game, go talk to Gary early in the morning as you see him tending to Nina’s grave.
The objective of this game is to time your button press as soon as the big ring collapses into the small ring. This goes on until the meter on the upper part of the screen gets full or until your character has made a full circle around the grave. If you manage to get around 80% or more perfect timings, you will get a fish as a reward from Gary.
Order Up
To play Order Up, you will have to head to the Lei-Over Inn at specific times, usually when a certain NPC is also inside. The times will differ depending on the NPC that you will be playing with. Also, the difficulty will also be dependent on you will be serving food to.
- Garrett – Every 3rd and 8th, between 10:30AM to 5:00PM, only during rainy or snowy weather.
- Hugh
- During Year 3 – Everyday, between 12:30PM to 5:30PM, only during rainy or snowy weather.

- Van – Every 3rd and 8th, between 11:00PM to 11:30PM, only during sunny or cloudy weather.
The objective of the game is to serve as many dishes as you can within a time limit. To serve a dish, you will be shown a string of buttons that you have to press in order from left to right as fast and as accurate as possible. If you press a wrong button in the sequence, you won’t be able to serve the dish to your customer.
Once the timer is up, the amount of dishes that you have successfully served is tallied. If you manage to serve a certain amount of dishes or more, you will be rewarded with a prize by Lou, which is usually a dish and its recipe.
