Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life lets you add a personal touch to your own avatar by giving you a variety of different outfits to personalize your appearance. It’s a staple for any farming sim and a nice way to add some uniqueness to our avatars and make them look the way we want them to. How to Change Outfits?
Go to your home and interact with the Dresser/Mirror to change outfits in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Select “Change Look” from the menu, which brings you to a screen that lets you customize your outfits and appearance. The Dresser/Mirror is on the right side of your house, next to the calendar.
You can change almost every aspect of your character, including outfits, by using the dresser. The standing mirror and dresser also let you change your hairstyle and color. Any kind of headwear you have isn’t equipped by changing your outfit, but rather by changing the hairstyle. You can also choose to look directly at the mirror from here, so you can get a good idea of what you look like in case you want to make changes.
Choosing to look in the mirror will cause your farmer to comment about their appearance or what’s currently going on. Doing this multiple times is how you unlock one of the Wonders in the game.
How to Get New Outfits?
The standard ways to get outfits are either by purchasing them from Van’s shop or by earning them as rewards from the requests posted on the bulletin board. Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life also offers DLC outfits that can be purchased with real-life money.
The outfits that can be bought from Van are purchasable any time he’s in town. You don’t need to worry about a time limit because he won’t renew his stock until you purchase a new outfit from him. More outfits from Van’s shop will unlock as the years progress.
The requests from the bulletin board, on the other hand, are going to take a bit of work. Some of the requests will reward you with outfits, and you can see what kind of reward you’ll get before you choose to complete a certain request.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life also has DLC outfits you can purchase if you’re willing to spare the extra cash. There is no way to earn these DLC outfits in the game, and you’ll be able to change into them from your dresser as soon as you accept them from the Blue Deposit Box in front of your house.
