Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Gameplay Trailer Explains Battle Basics

At least Jack's not spamming the word "Chaos" in this new video.

A new trailer of upcoming video game Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin just got released by Team Ninja and it all focuses more on gameplay: the Battle Basics.

The latest gameplay trailer fills players in with all of the information they need on gameplay for Strangers of Paradise. It focuses more on the main man of the game, Jack, and all of his abilities starting from his first job as a Swordsman. He is using a two handed sword and can use some unique starting abilities in battle. He is also fighting along with his party members Ash, Jed, Neon, and Sophia. The video really showcases its action-RPG elements. There are also some touches of features that are familiar to fans of Team Ninja games like the Nioh series.

Jack and his mates fight against monsters much larger than them, but they can handle them quite easily with the right abilities to use. A break gauge is revealed, which can be broken down in order to weaken them for the kill. They complete the kill with a Soul Burst to shatter the monsters to pieces. They can also use the Soul Shield in order to defend against attacks from the monsters and other types of enemies.

Other types of jobs were also shown aside from the starting Swordsman. The video showed the Lancer, Ronin, Duelist, and a lot more. Players can easily change their jobs with a push of a button and use and combine abilities to weaken and kill enemies.

Multiplayer was the last part shown in the video. Every player involved in the run will get individual loot at the end. Other players can join too for the main campaign, special missions, or the endgame content if they want to. There are no limitations that will hinder them from joining up. And that is the end of the gameplay video that showed Battle Basics.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin will be launching on March 18, 2022. It will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Epic Games Store.
