CAPCOM has now confirmed that Street Fighter 6 has reached a brand new player number milestone and to celebrate, an in-game gift was shared.
When Street Fighter 6 hit retail stores, the game quickly gained popularity as many players commented that it is now the most fun Street Fighter title to date. Many have enjoyed its gameplay mechanics, which was easy to play, especially for beginners who have never played any Street Fighter titles before. CAPCOM said it was going all out with the development of this title and has now paid off with this new report.
Street Fighter 6 Gains a Million Players
It has been confirmed by CAPCOM in a new Twitter post that the game has now reached one million players. This also confirms its sales milestone has now surpassed 50 million units in total and to celebrate, all Street Fighter 6 players will be celebrating with an in-game gift.
The official Japanese Street Fighter 6 Twitter account says, “Thank you for your continued support of SF6.” It also recently ranked as the second-best-selling game in the game last week and has only lost to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Beats Other Fighting Games on Steam
Last week, it was also confirmed by BenjiSales that the game now has a Steam concurrent player count of 70,540. This makes it the most-played, non-f2p fighting game on the PC platform. It beats Mortal Kombat 11 which had 35, 147 at that time and Tekken 7 at third with only 18,966.
Street Fighter 6 is out now on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
