    System Shock Remake Officially Launches on PC Today

    Nightdive Studios has recently launched System Shock Remake on PC for Steam Epic Games Store, and GOG.

    System Shock Remake Bounces Back After Delay

    Two months ago, Prime Matter and Nightdive Studios delayed the remake of System Shock due to some unforeseen circumstances. They wanted to launch it by the end of March 2023, but it was beyond the developers’ reach so they had to postpone the launch for a few months. Fast-forward to today, they have now fulfilled their promise to the community.

    Official Launch Today for PC Version

    System Shock Remake on PC is now available on various PC storefronts. With the PC version already released, the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions are being planned for development. More details will be shared at a later time.

    About System Shock

    System Shock is a faithful recreation of the classic shooter/immersive sim launched in 1994. It has now been updated and upgraded for modern audiences. Players will face off against the powerful SHODAN, a rogue AI that will stand in their way.

    The all-new remake combines the gameplay of the iconic original game with brand-new HD visuals, updated controls, an overhauled interface, and new sounds and music. Players will encounter never-before-seen enemies, quality-of-life gameplay tweaks, a revamped hacking system, and visceral; new combat options. It features a brutal dismemberment system as well.

    System Shock PC System Requirements

    Here are the system requirements for the game for both minimum and recommended settings:

    MINIMUM:
    Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit only)
    Processor: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
    Memory: 4 GB RAM
    Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better
    DirectX: Version 11
    Storage: 10 GB Available Space
     
    RECOMMENDED:

    Memory: 8 GB RAM
