Tekken 8 Closed Beta Gets Cracked
A new report has revealed that a cracked closed beta version of Tekken 8 was seen circulating around the interwebs. This reached Bandai Namco and soon found out that this was true and quickly issued a warning to players who might have downloaded this particular version.
Bandai Namco Warning
In a recent Twitter post by Bandai Namco, the company stated that cracking and downloading it breaches its terms of service and the Tekken World Tour code of conduct. Unauthorized download or distribution of the game is illegal and threatened to ban anyone caught playing the CNT from its tournaments.
“Your cooperation in preserving the fairness and competitive integrity of our competition is highly valued,” Bandai Namco said.
Tekken 8 still does not have a release date. It will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
