Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed the official Tekken 8 release date at Gamescom Opening Night Live.
Tekken 8 Release Date Announced
After numerous character reveal trailers, Katsuhiro Harada has finally revealed a new trailer that also featured the official release date. A while ago, the release date was leaked ahead of the announcement, which might have fueled the reveal of the release date ahead of the planned announcement. Well, it is Gamescom 2023, so it would also make sense that they would officially announce the release date. Pre-orders also open on August 22, 2023.
Arcade Quest Mode
Aside from the release date, the new trailer revealed Arcade Quest Mode. It allows players to create a custom avatar. These avatars will then head to an arcade for a fighting game community-inspired experience. This will be a different story aside from the traditional story mode. There is a pre-order bonus that offers Avatar Costume of Paul Phoenix. On PlayStation, there is an exclusive Avatar Skin set for Mokujin and Tetsujin.
