Sonny is one of the victims in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. He has high situational awareness, allowing him to be perceptive of his surroundings, which proves to be helpful in avoiding the Family, as well as ambushing them. Read ahead as we talk more about how to get the best build for Sonny in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
Best Sonny Attributes
Sonny has high base stats on both Endurance and Strength, and coupled with his ability, this allows him to avoid most ambushes and encounters in TCM.
Here are Sonny’s base stats:
- Toughness: 15
- Endurance: 35**
- Strength: 35
- Proficiency: 25*
- Stealth: 15*
Despite his high Strength, Sonny works well as a scout and could let others know where the killers are. He would benefit more from getting his Endurance and Proficiency up high to be able to make it through the tasks as quickly and safely as possible and be a great scout that is slippery enough to evade the killers.
Best Sonny Ability Modifiers
Sonny’s main ability in TCM is Heightened Sense, which allows him to detect noise made by anyone nearby, pinpointing their location and tracking their movements.
Sonny has modifiers that can improve the ability’s usage:
- Level 1 and 2
- Increased Range: Increases noise detection range of the ability by 15%/25%.
- Shorter Cooldown: Cooldown before your ability starts recharging is reduced by 1s/2s.
- Ability Drain Reduction: Reduces the consumption rate of the ability by 25%/50%.
- Level 3
- Increased Range: Increases noise detection range of the ability by 35%.
- All Knowing: Let’s the player identify if a noise was made by another Victim or Family member.
- Quick Recharge Rate: Increases Ability Recharge Rate by 100%.
Take note that you will need to level up Sonny’s ability to level 3 to be able to unlock all three slots for its modifiers. Also, the same modifiers’ effects do not stack up, and only the modifier placed on the higher level will take effect.
To make use of Sonny’s ability more often, it’s best to go for these modifiers:
- Level 1: Ability Drain Reduction
- Level 2: Shorter Cooldown
- Level 3: All Knowing
You can either swap the level three to a Quick Recharge Rate to make use of the ability more often.
