The Coalition, makers of Gears of War games, is now working on the newest entry and is already looking for new people for its development.
Last Tuesday, an ad was posted online by The Coalition revealing that it is currently looking for a Senior Gameplay Designer. It specifically was titled “Senior Gameplay Designer – Gears of War – The Coalition”, which could only mean that the project the applicants will be working on is the newest entry.
The ad did not specifically mention if it was going to be a new entry, which could be Gears of War 6 or it would be a remaster of a previous title for modern platforms. It did hint that the studio is looking for applicants that are able to make new gameplay features. This could mean a new Gears of War title, or maybe it will be a new feature that a possible remaster would get.
“We are searching for candidates with experience in Character, Camera and Controls (the 3 C’s), or artificial intelligence (AI) systems,” it reads. “You have experience owning large scale features and guiding them from initial concept through to polish and completion.”
There have been rumors about a new entry for the Gears of War franchise, which could mean they are somewhat true. We can only wait for confirmation from The Coalition once they announce the title of its new project in the near future.
