In Castles, players will design their castle layout, assign jobs to their subjects, and make critical decisions that shape the future of their realm. The game features a unique twist: player choices can lead to their subjects seeking a new ruler if they are dissatisfied, adding a layer of strategic depth to the gameplay. Bethesda has also released a developer deep dive for those seeking to learn more about the game’s mechanics.
To celebrate the launch, an animated trailer has been released, showcasing the journey of a young Elven subject on coronation day as they navigate the bustling castle.
Players who pre-registered for the game will receive a host of in-game rewards, including gems, blessings, a legendary pack, banner decorations, and the legendary subject Ulfric Stormcloak. These rewards can be claimed by logging in and reaching Dynasty level 25 before October 10, 2024.
