SEGA has announced the release of a demo for The First Berserker: Khazan on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players can jump into the dark fantasy world and experience the brutal action firsthand, with save data carrying over to the full game when it launches on March 28, 2025.
The demo offers a taste of Khazan’s journey as the disgraced general of the Pell Los Empire seeks to reclaim his honor and enact revenge. Players will experience the game’s engaging story, intense action combat, and diverse mechanics. The demo also showcases the game’s unique 3D cel animation style and immersive graphics, bringing the dark fantasy world to life.
A new feature introduced in the demo is adjustable difficulty settings. Unlocked after the Yetuga boss fight in the second chapter, this option allows players to tailor the challenge to their liking. Completing the demo also grants players a preview of what awaits them in the full game.
Pre-orders for the physical PS5 version are now available at select retailers. Those who pre-order will receive the exclusive Fallen Star Armor Set, a cosmetic outfit reflecting Khazan’s appearance during his exile. This set, consisting of Fallen Star’s Resolve, Mark, Scar, Tattered Clothing, and Shackles, can be upgraded and customized, making it a viable option throughout the game. SEGA has confirmed that the Fallen Star Armor Set is a pre-order exclusive and will not be available through other means after launch.
