SNK has recently revealed the newest character and trailer for The King of Fighters XV.
The King of Fighters XV Adds Najd the Dark Vigilante
The latest character that will join the roster of The King of Fighters XV is Najd, the Saudi Arabian vigilante. She will be added this coming summer 2023, which was also announced at EVO Japan 2023. It was also confirmed that she will be playable early at the SNK booth at EVO 2023 in Las Vegas.
A new trailer was also released featuring the various unique dialogue between Najd and other characters in the game.
Story of Najd
Najd was first revealed in The King of Fighters XIV and was introduced as a college student who patrols the streets at night using her power to manipulate darkness. When she is a vigilante, she disguises herself with a scarlet Abaya, which is a form of traditional garment in Saudi Arabia. Her brand of justice is quite different from that of other characters in the game like Kim Kaphwan, which makes her clash with them.
Previously, it was Sylvie Paula Paula who got added to the roster as part of the Fighter Pass DLC. Najd is also included in that pass.
The King of Fighters XV is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
