Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 1 PC version is currently being criticized heavily on Steam and Epic Games after it launched today.
The PC port of The Last of Us Part 1 has launched today on Steam and Epic Games Store after a short delay from its original launch date which was in early March 2023. While at first many PC players were hyped up for its launch on their favorite digital storefronts, when it finally got released, many were dismayed by its performance.
It currently has mostly negative reviews on Steam. Players are mostly complaining about performance issues, crashes, and weird bugs.
One of the game’s user reviews says that it has terrible optimization taking more than 8 GB of VRAM on medium settings and utilizing 100 percent CPU power in the menu. Another user commented that it is a horrible pc port and they have already purchased the game three different times already.
One user said that while playing the game for 3.5 hours, it had already crashed 12 times in a row. Some are even stopping players from buying the game and installing it on Steam Deck as it causes a lot of problems including random crashes.
Naughty Dog has not yet shared a comment to address these issues.
The Last of Us Part 1 PC is out now on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
