First, it was called Breath of the Wild 2 since it was a sequel to the first game on the Nintendo Switch. After the first reveal, there was silence from Nintendo with only small hints from the developers. Today, that has all changed with the announcement of the game’s new name and the release date.
New Name, New Adventures
It will not be called Breath of the Wild 2 as many speculated, but it will now be The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. This was announced at the end of the Nintendo Direct showcase today with a small glimpse of the gameplay.
Release Date
The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom release date is on May 12, 2023 exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Can’t wait!
