A new report revealed that video game The Outer Worlds has now sold more than 4 million copies worldwide.
In the latest Take-Two earnings reveal for FY2022 Q1, the game company shared this new milestone that the game has achieved. And this is a record that it has achieved in its lifetime.
Games Industry Analyst Dom shared this information about The Outer Worlds selling over 4 million units worldwide, on his personal Twitter account. He also noted that this is more than a million than the game company reported the last quarter. This meant there are still many gamers out there who like this type of games.
With the announcement of a sequel, The Outer Worlds 2, last Jun 2022 during the Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 showcase, it probably became the catalyst for gamers to play the original.
The Outer Worlds was developed by game studio Obsidian Entertainment and published by Private Division, a subsidiary of Take-Two. It is the most successful title the publisher has released since. It is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
