EA Games has now revealed The Sims 4 High School Years release date and its other details.

The Sims 4 High School Years expansion pack will be released this coming July 28, 2022 for PC on Origin and Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5. This will be the latest expansion pack that The Sims 4 will be getting soon and it seems more content will be coming after this as well.

As is standard for other The Sims 4 Expansion Packs, High School Years will cost $39.99 / £34.99.

A new world: Copperdale High Location
The new expansion centers around the new Copperdale High where teenagers will be attending high school with faculty members. The school is in a small town called Copperdale located on the banks of Lake LaSuli.
High School Life
Inside the halls of Copperdale High, Sims will be able to participate in everything high school like forming lifelong friendships, discovering extracurricular activities, and then graduating into adulthood.
Joining Classes and After Classes
During school hours, young teenage Sims will be attending class, hang out with friends, eat launch in the cafeteria, take weekly exams, and more. After school, students will be able to join in activities like cheerleading, football, chess, computer clubs. They can go to events like a science fair or just go home and complete their homework.
After School Activities
Teen Sims can join after-school club or team like football or cheer, practice these skill related activities, participate in competitions, and experience the joys and sad times together with the teammates.
Teen Romance
Young romance is also featured in this new expansion. Challenges and the joys of young love can be experienced here. And the best place for a perfect date is Plumbite Pier.
The Sims 4 High School Years Free Game Update
A free base game update will go live together with the release of High School Years expansion. This will introduce an addition new feature that will add more choice and opportunity for discovery to the Sims’ lives.
The free base game update will introduce body hair. Owners of High School Years Expansion Pack will be able to groom and trim their body hair’s natural growth over time.
Pranks Are Here
Pranks will be featured in the new expansion. Discover an all new mischievous side of teen Sims as they pull pranks. Mess with the school’s PA system, leave a stink capsule in the locker, or mark up the whiteboard. Prank successfully to increase mischief skill, but being discovered will have consequences on relationships and will lead to trust issues.
Hangout at Home with Friends
At home, the Sim’s bedroom can showcase their personality and style and as unique as they are. Teen Sims can hang out in the rooms with Sims now able to sit crossed-legged on the bed together and have pillow fights. Sneak out the house via the E window and trellis ladder, and climb down the side of a house.
Fashion Extended
Fashion will be expanded even further with this new expansion pack and in collaboration with Depop, the circular fashion marketplace where the next generation comes to discover unique items.
Prom and Graduation
Prom and graduation will be featured in the new expansion too since these are one of the most important parts of high school life. Prom allows Sims to prepare for the event, and choose how they can go to it. They can go solo, ask someone else to go together, go with friends, or just skip it. Sims can choose outfits, and vote for prom royalty.
Graduation is the end of high school life, which is an important part. Sims can prepare before the main event by inviting guests, deciding their outfit, and acquiring gifts for friends and teachers. Sims can also choose if they want to attend or not, but they will not be invited to graduate if their grades do not meet the mark.
