Game industry personality Geoff Keighley has recently announced on his official social media account that the start of The Steam Game Festival Summer Edition has been moved.
The upcoming event, according to Keighley, will now take place one week later than its original date, June 6-8. It will now run on June 16-22. He did not provide any other information as to why they moved the date, but it could be due to what is happening in the US right now.
Some fans were disappointed with the announcement, while others have understood the possible reason for moving it to another date.
