Summer Game Fest Comes Back Next Year
Producer Keighley recently posted on the official Twitter account of Summer Game Fest that after a record-setting 2023, the event will be returning in June 2024. It will include the live showcase event and will still be hosted by him. The Summer Game Fest Play Days will also be produced by iam8bit and will be held in Los Angeles. This is an invite-only preview event for media and influencers.

The post said that there will be more details about this upcoming event in the coming months. Currently, no other details are shared other than the announcement of its return. But before that, there are other events coming this year like Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show, The Game Awards, and more.

Summer Game Fest 2023 was very successful with various big announcements, interviews, showcases, and more from various big gaming companies, indie studios, and important industry personalities. Various big titles got previewed, announced, and showcased during the event like Alan Wake 2, Mortal Kombat 1, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Final Fantasy XVI, and more. New titles like Sonic Superstars, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and many more were revealed. Anticipated titles that did not get any updates before were present this week like Fable.
