Various storefronts are already accepting pre-orders for The Super Mario Bros Movie Blu-ray, DVD, or digital release.
There is still no exact release date for The Super Mario Bros Movie’s physical and digital copies, but pre-orders have already been spotted online. There are already product listings and special offers from different retail shops like Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and Amazon.
Physical copy pre-orders are now open at Target and Walmart offering an exclusive limited edition gift set from the latter while the former offers the Blu-ray, DVD, and digital versions of the movie in one package. It currently costs $26.99.
The Best Buy version has the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray versions. It includes an exclusive Steelbook case with a mushroom powerup printed on it. Amazon offers digital versions of the film in SD, HD and UHD versions for $29.99 each.
Aside from the pre-orders, it was also reported (via Deadline) that The Super Mario Bros Movie made over $66 million on its first day in theaters and broke several international box office records. $34.7 million of that revenue came from overseas. In the US, it got $53.7 million in just two days.
