Publisher and developer THQ Nordic will host a digital showcase event on September 17th at 12 PM PST in celebration of its 10th anniversary.
The festivities can be viewed on their YouTube and Twitch and Steam pages.
The showcase will be hosted by Geoff Keighley, better known as the guy who hosts The Game Awards. Additionally, it will feature six new games.
In their own words, “Witness the return of legendary franchises and sequels to beloved games. We hope you are ready, kids!” Almost felt the need to say, “Aye, aye, Captain!” there.
Other than that, there will be more details on upcoming games ELEX II and Expeditions: Rome. They also inform us that HandyGames will showcase some of their titles in a round of pre-show announcements.
On a final note, THQ Nordic is inviting content creators to co-stream the showcase on their individual channels. They will be working with Twitch and YouTube to ensure that all music can be part of the steam.
With parent company, Embracer Group, on a studio buying-spree lately, it is tough to keep track of all the titles that full under the group’s umbrella. THQ Nordic, however, is comprised of 19 studios, including Black Forest Games, Bugbear Entertainment, Gunfire Games, and many others.
