Respawn Entertainment’s sequel of Titanfall received a lot of positive remarks from critics! The embargo of the reviews for Titanfall 2 has been recently lifted and here are the reviews from major publications:
Gamespot: “Titanfall 2 is more measured and intelligent than its predecessor, but just as fluid and kinetic.” – 9/10
PlayStation LifeStyle: “Titanfall 2 is the new king of the FPS hill. Controls are tight, action is fierce, maps are intricately designed, and Titans are badass.” – 9/10
GamesRadar+: “Intelligent, creative, and never less than thrilling, Titanfall 2 finally realises the series’ true potential with verve and polish.” – 4.5/5 Stars
USGAMER: “Although it’s a little on the short side, and its production values are a bit oldschool, Titanfall 2’s single-player campaign is a really enjoyable experience while it lasts” – 4.5/5 Stars
TrustedReviews: “Titanfall 2’s campaign is one of the best surprises of the autumn 2016 season” – 4.5/5 Stars
However, there is only 1 publication who scored Titanfall 2 with a 7/10 because the game “loses too much focus”. I’m not surprised with Polygon’s review. We all hope it’s not the person who played DOOM on their first thirty minutes gameplay video.
