Ubisoft has recently announced the Ubisoft Forward Live with a new trailer that includes a teaser of a mystery game.
June 2023 has now arrived which means Summer Game Fest is just around the corner. It also comes with the season of big announcements for upcoming and most anticipated titles. Some companies have already announced their own shows for this month while others are riding the hype of Summer Game Fest for this year as it seems it has now replaced the failed E3 2023 event. One of those companies that seem to be riding that hype wave is Ubisoft announcing its own showcase.
Ubisoft Forward Live is Happening
Ubisoft Forward Live is going to be broadcast from Los Angeles and takes place on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 6 PM BST/10 AM PDT. There will be a pre-show of undisclosed content which will start a quarter of an hour earlier. No one knows what will be shown, but it could be upcoming games that are not ready yet to be shown to the public.
Big Announcements and Showcases
Based on the new trailer, big announcements are coming during the Ubisoft Forward showcase. It includes Assassin’s Creed Mirage with a peek of what to expect, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and The Crew Motorfest. There could be more, but the trailer did not show what other titles are coming.
One Mysterious Reveal
By the end of the trailer, it did show a rather mysterious clip. It had a splash of gold and black on a rippling background, which was confusing at first, but when one of the audience members said, “Wait, what’s that game?” then it raised some questions. According to comments on the video, some speculate it is the most awaited and also the most delayed game in Ubisoft history, Beyond Good and Evil 2, while others think it is the reboot of the upcoming Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake.
All will be revealed during the showcase.
