Ubisoft has recently hired Bernd Diemer as the company’s new Vice President of Editorial – Social Experience.
Diemer has previously worked on projects like Star Wars Battlefront 2, Crysis, Battlefield V, and Horizon Zero Dawn. He worked as both creative director and game designer for these games. Ubisoft has hired him as the new editorial VP and will focus more on in-game social experiences for various service games.

Diemer is a tenured Professor of Game Design at Technical University Cologne. He also has a passion for education in game design.
