Square Enix has recently announced the official launch of Valkyrie Elysium today on PlayStation consoles.
Valkyrie Elysium, the successor of the Valkyrie series is now available physically and digitally on PS4 and PS5 consoles. Fans and new players can now play and experience the action combat mechanics and start their journey as the Valkyrie.
In Valkyrie Elysium, a new young Valkyrie will be entrusted with the fate of the world by the Al-Father Odin. She will face various enemies on her quest and must make use of different weapons, magic, and the power of her allies to prevent Ragnarok.
Valkyrie Elysium has music composed by series regular Motoi Sakuraba while offering a fresh, new direction with classic combat mechanics like finishing moves and combo systems. They are all reimagined for an action-RPG.
There will be a free update this coming November 8, 2022. It will introduce three pieces of new content that includes new difficulty levels, Seraphic Gate time attack battles, and Hilde’s Vengeance mode, where players will control Hilde. This free update will be available for players of the Steam version of the game when it launches on November 11, 2022.
Valkyrie Elysium has a digital standard and digital deluxe edition on all platforms. It includes the following:
- PS5 and PS4:
- In-game item “Svartaljr: Sword of the Goddess of the Underworld”
- A digital version of VALKYRIE PROFILE: LENNETH* (PS4/5 version), the beloved first entry in the VALKYRIE series available at last on modern consoles.
- STEAM:
- In-game item “Svartaljr: Sword of the Goddess of the Underworld”
Note that the Valkyrie Profile Lenneth copies will be released later on December 22, 2022.
Valkyrie Elysium is now available on PS4 and PS5.
