Game company Digital Extremes will extend Warframe’s Heart of Deimos open-world expansion today for free with Deimos: Arcana.
Deimos: Arcana is a new update that adds new content including the powerful mech the Bonewidow on PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. There will be a lot of additions and improvements in this new update that offers players a chance to jump straight into cross-play coop on PS5 and PS4 or on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. New Vault Bounties and underground levels have been added with new enemies to fights. There are also a lot of new activities to enjoy like fishing, conversations, and more.
Powering the unmatched ferocity of Bonewidow, a shield-wielding mech equipped with a sword, players can impale and throw enemies into the air. The Thano-Tech also carries a deadly Infested rocket launcher (the “Morgha”), bringing immensely brutal fun and grisly experimentation to the Cambion Drift landscape.
To confront new enemies like the Mitosid (that, when shot, duplicates!), a new assortment of weapons, items, and specialty Warframes will be available. Tenno can arm themselves with the Infested, bile-loaded Catabolyst Pistol, Proboscis Cernos Bow, Pulmonars Nunchaku, the devastating Bubonico Arm Cannon, Arcanes, Augments, and more. They can collect the beautifully glassy Gara Deluxe Collection (featuring the Gara Kaleida Skin, Starglaze Shards, Glistor Syandana and Rephrax Longsword Skin), earn standing at Grandma’s Remedy Workshop, and pick up new Infested K-Drive Skins.
Strengthening player desire to explore the pustulating landscape of the Cambion Drift, we’ve built four deep new underground levels. Combined with Vault Bounties and Hunting and Conservation offerings (including the amphibious Undazoa and thwomp-like Nexifera, and new fish species the parasitic Flagellocanth and three-tailed Lobotriscid), players are offered more depth and variety in their open world journeys.
Warframe is now available on PlayStation 5, PS4, PC, and Xbox One, Nintendo Switch now, and soon on Xbox Series X.
