Game company Ubisoft has recently confirmed that open-world video game Watch Dogs Legion Online Mode will be getting the much-needed crossplay and cross-generation-play soon.
According to a recent post on the official Twitter account of the video game, the development team behind the video game is already working on adding the feature with a later update. They did not share a specific date for its release, but it should be on its way.
The features are not currently available for the title, but it would be a welcome one for those who want to play together with their friend but using different platforms. The dev team might have recognized that many players are currently playing on their favored platforms, but some of them might not have the same ones that their friends have.
Since the PC version has delayed its Online Mode for now, it would be great for Xbox and PlayStation consoles would have crossplay and cross-gen-play features in the meantime. It is unfortunate that the PC version had issues that the dev team found out while checking it out with certain GPUs, consoles would definitely benefit this.
