After five weeks, the “We Stand Unbroken” Seasonal Quest has finally wrapped up. And while Lightfall left much to be desired, the quest ended on the right note as the opening salvo of things to come when the Final Shape arrives. We all know that loss is going to be part of the ending, We Stand Unbroken sets up the expectation that we will be losing a lot more than we think we will.
This guide will tell you everything you need to know about all the steps for the seasonal quest. If you haven’t been doing the We Stand Unbroken Destiny 2 quest on a weekly basis, you can do all the steps in one go as of this week, all the way to the last day of the season.
And don’t worry too much, the seasonal story and content will still be here for the next season and the season after that. Though there will be a lot fewer players doing activities from the previous seasons. Unless the rewards are very good.
How to Start the We Stand Unbroken Quest in Destiny 2
Similar to how you needed to complete the first mission in the Witchqueen campaign, you will need to finish the first mission in the Lightfall campaign: First Contact before gaining the ability to start the We Stand Unbroken Destiny 2 Seasonal Quest.
After finishing the first mission, Nimbus will inform you that a drop pod has delivered the Ascendent Scepter seasonal artifact to a chosen few, including you. Take the artifact and return to the H.E.L.M. to start the quest by interacting with the War Table.
We Stand Unbroken Destiny 2 Quest Steps
the quest sees the Guardians infiltrating several detainment facilities around Earth, many of whom have captured humans and their allies. Amanda Holliday is hell-bent on saving as many lost souls as she can. In hindsight, we should have known something was up.
We Stand Unbroken Destiny 2 Week 1
Step 1 – Claim the Week 1 Seasonal Challenge “Righteous Defiance” to earn a War table upgrade.
Step 2 – Visit the War Table in the H.E.L.M. for a debriefing with Mara Sov.
Step 3 – Choose your first Awoken Favor on the War Table upgrade menu.
Step 4 – Collect 3 Awoken Favors in Defiant Battlegrounds and complete 1 Defiant Battlegrounds playlist.
Step 5 – Visit the Farm to debrief with Mara Sov.
Step 6 – The Vanguard and its allies are working to rescue more prisoners from the Shadow Legion. The Queensguard will be called when their assistance is needed.
We Stand Unbroken Destiny 2 Week 2
Step 7 – Visit the War Table in the H.E.L.M. for a briefing with Amanda Holliday.
Step 8 – Infiltrate the Pyramid outpost in Defiant Battlegournd: Cosmodrome. Launch this activity in the Cosmodrome via the Destinations tab in the Director.
Step 9 – Use a Defiant Key after completing a Defiant Battlegrounds playlist activity.
Step 10 – Visit the holoprojector at the Farm for a debriefing with Devrim Kay.
Step 11 – The Vanguard and its allies are working to rescue more prisoners from the Shadow Legion. The Queensguard will be called when their assistance is needed again.
We Stand Unbroken Destiny 2 Week 3
Step 12 – Visit the War Table in the H.E.L.M. for a briefing with Mara Sov.
Step 13 – Infiltrate the Shadow Legion prison ship in Defiatn Battlegrounds: Orbital Prison. Launch this activity in the EDZ via the Destinations tab in the Director.
Step 14 – Speak with Amanda and Mithrax at the Farm.
Step 15 – As a fireteam, generate 20 Awoken Favors during Defiant Battlegrounds playlist activities.
Step 16 – Visit the holoprojector at the Farm for a debriefing with Amanda Holliday.
Step 17 – The Vanguard and its allies are working to rescue more prisoners from the Shadow Legion. The Queensguard will be called when their assistance is needed again.
We Stand Unbroken Destiny 2 Week 4
Step 18 – Visit the War Table in the H.E.L.M. for a briefing with Amanda Holliday.
Step 19 – Collect a Defiant Engram from a Defiant Chest after completing a Defiant Battlegrounds playlist activity.
Step 20 – Visit the holoprojector at the Farm for a debriefing with Devrim Kay.
Step 21 – Rescue the captive in “Mission: Jailbreak.”
Step 22 – Report to the Farm.
Step 23 – Speak with Mara Sov.
Step 24 – The Vanguard and its allies will still work to rescue more prisoners from the Shadow Legion. The Queensguard will be called when their assistance is needed again.
We Stand Unbroken Destiny 2 Week 5
Step 25 – visit the War Table in the H.E.L.M. for a briefing with Devrim Kay.
Step 26 – Defeat Shadow Legion combatants and complete 1 Defiant Battlegrounds playlist activity. Combatants in Defiant Battlegrounds award bonus progress.
Step 27 – Speak with Commander Zavala at the Farm.
Step 28 – Speak with Mara Sov.
We Stand Unbroken Rewards Destiny 2
At the end of each seasonal story segment, Queen Mara Sov will present to you a seasonal weapon. We’re not quite if it’s random, though it doesn’t seem like it. Interestingly enough, the weapon presented to you is somewhat close to your highest level. Meaning that if you don’t like it, you can’t always use it to level up another weapon.
As seen from the picture above, you will not get any special rewards for finishing the quest. Only knowledge that it is only going to get worse from here on out.
