Xbox stole the show at Tokyo Game Show 2024, dropping a ton of awesome news and gameplay reveals that had gamers everywhere super excited. From big new games to cool collaborations, the whole broadcast was a sneak peek into the amazing future of Xbox gaming.

Xbox, Blizzard, and Bethesda Bring the Heat

The big three, Xbox Game Studios, Blizzard, and Bethesda, showed off a bunch of exciting updates. World’s Edge gave us a first look at the Immortal Pillars expansion for Age of Mythology: Retold, adding Chinese mythology to the game.

Fallout 76 players can look forward to cute pets in their C.A.M.P.s this December. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be fully translated into Japanese, and Overwatch 2 is teaming up with My Hero Academia for a limited-time event. Strategy fans will be excited as StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II were announced for PC Game Pass.

A Big Hug for Games Made in Asia

Xbox showed a major love for games created in Asia. Square Enix brought nine classic RPGs to Xbox, including the first six Final Fantasy games. We got a new look at the long-awaited Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and cool interviews about Slitterhead and Atelier Yumia, proving Xbox is all-in on supporting Asian game developers.

New Games, Old Favorites, and Everything in Between

The show was packed with new and remastered games. All You Need is Help, a four-player co-op game, is out now on Game Pass. The anime-style battle royale Asurajang is coming in 2025.

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls arrives early 2025, and Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake launches on November 14. FragPunk beta starts on October 10, and the Legend of Mana HD remaster is now on Game Pass.

Metaphor: ReFantazio, a new fantasy RPG from the makers of Persona, drops on October 11. Synduality: Echo of Ada, a sci-fi shooter, is coming to Xbox Series X|S on January 24, 2025. Tanuki: Pon’s Summer is a cute Japan-inspired adventure, and Threads of Time is a time-traveling JRPG. The classic Trials of Mana is now on Game Pass, and the wacky We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie is ready to roll.

Xbox had everyone at Tokyo Game Show 2024, showing off a huge variety of games for everyone. Their support for both big studios and new talent is awesome. With even more games like Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Monster Hunter Wilds, Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II on the way, next year is going to be epic for Xbox fans.
