Microsoft is clearly setting its foot in the Asian market as the company is going to hold a game show showcase for the second year in Japan’s biggest gaming convention, Tokyo Game Show 2021.
Held from September 30, 2021, to October 3, 2021, the event is expected to have 44 presentations from major publishers such as Ubisoft, Square Enix, and Capcom, bringing in new announcements from their current and future projects.
The Xbox Tokyo Game Show Showcase does not have any specifics of what Microsoft is going to unveil, but as far as the description is concerned it says “join Xbox as we bring our gaming ecosystem to the world,” hinting that the company is not going to stop expanding to reach more players in the Asian region.
Much like last year’s event, the Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, said they will do their best to release more Xbox units in the region. Now, with more Xbox being sold in Japan means it’s a good sign for Microsoft.
Tokyo Game Show 2021 will be held online and will start from September 30 to October 3, 2021.
In other Xbox news, Microsoft and 343 Industries has already announced the release date of Halo: Infinite, plus the first gorgeous Halo: Infinite console limited edition Xbox Series X.
