Xbox Head Phil Spencer Said Microsoft’s E3 2018 Press Conference Will Have “Positive Changes”

It’s the time of the year when publishers and console makers slowly talk about their plans for the biggest gaming convention in the world: Electronic Entertainment Expo, or in short E3.

In a recent podcast with Major Nelson, Xbox’s own head Phil Spencer hinted that there will be changes with how they might approach their press conference at E3 2018. “I don’t think we’ve talked about yet, but I think will be some positive changes at E3. Could be fun for us; it’ll be a nice change.” Spencer said in the podcast.

If they are planning to go for a different path like what Electronic Arts did where it’s more centralized and exclusive mainly for die-hard fans and the media, then we could probably see more game announcements. But, last year at Gamescom was a big disappointment. Microsoft has been so silent with their first-party studios, and we are expecting Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, and State of Decay 2 to launch later this year.

Will this “change” be for the better? Or worse?
