New reports claim that on Monday, May 1, 2023, The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has been leaked online and various pirate websites hosting its “file” ready to be downloaded by others. Those who have already acquired it have now spread havoc on social media sharing gameplay videos and images that include massive spoilers.
A player was even brazen enough to stream the leaked game on Twitch for more or less 30 minutes. The channel was later removed “at the request of the copyright holder”.
Fans of the franchise might want to avoid social media posts related to Zelda Tears of the Kingdom for now before the May 12, 2023 launch day. That will be two weeks of evading posts with potential spoilers on various social media platforms.
There is also one physical copy of the game that was sold on an auction site recently.
The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom will launch officially on May 12, 2023 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
