Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser is confident that The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom price tag will be justified.
Bowser recently spoke with the Associated Press in an interview and was asked about how the company decided to put the price of the upcoming game Zelda Tears of the Kingdom at the price of $70.
“We look at what the game has to offer,” Bowser answered. “I think fans will find this is an incredibly full, deeply immersive experience. The price point reflects the type of experience that fans can expect when it comes to playing this particular game.”
Bowser also commented on the speculation that Nintendo titles might get priced at $70 moving forward. He assures that this will not necessarily be on all of their titles. The prices will vary depending on the game itself and it will not be the common value after Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
So for fans of Nintendo games, you can relax.
