Halo Infinite Xbox One Cancelled Rumor Surfaces Again Only to be Debunked Again

Another rumor about upcoming video game Halo Infinite Xbox One version being cancelled has been circulating again.

It was just recently reported that Infinite will now become a new-gen title and PC only with the last-gen version getting dropped. It was confirmed before by game developer 343 Industries that the Xbox One will be included in the launch, but these rumors persisted it will be dropped. Their evidence? It was a screenshot that was attached on a Tweet that says it will only come to Xbox Series X/S and PC. Xbox One was nowhere to be found.

Of course, this was mere speculation but the screenshot proved to be believable since it had 343 Industries labeled with it from a LinkedIn account from one of its lead designers.

Good thing that it was quickly debunked by 343 Industries Community Manager John Junyszek. He quickly confirmed that the game’s Xbox One version has not been cancelled and will still come to the console.

Halo Infinite is still coming on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC next year.
