Game company Nintendo has recently announced that sometime in June, the Netflix app of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U will not be playable anymore.
The Netflix app that was available for both Nintendo hardware will no longer work starting June 30. Last December 31, users of both hardware will not be able to download it anymore on the Nintendo eShop.
Users who already have downloaded the app before Dec. 31 can still use it until June 30. After that, it will not work anymore. It can still be re-downloaded if it was claimed previously.
With this in mind, the Nintendo Switch still does not have the Netflix app. There has been no official statement to confirm its release on the hybrid console, but hopefully it will be released there in the future.
