Dying Light 2 Art Director and Writer Pawel Selinger has officially left game company Techland.

Dying Light 2

Selinger has left his position as art director and writer from Techland after 22 years. This is official after he posted the announcement on his LinkedIn account just recently.

Here is his statement:

After over twenty-two years, I decided to end my cooperation with Techland. I would like to express my gratitude to the company that has allowed me to develop and fulfill myself for half of my life. Techland, I will always be rooting for you, as well as the great people I have met thanks to you. I wish you that Dying light 2 and subsequent projects will become world hits. Good bye and good luck!

Selinger did not reveal the reason for his departure, but it seems he left on a positive note.

Techland has been relatively silent recently of its development of the new sequel. There have been rumors about trouble with its development, but there should be official information coming in later on.

Dying Light 2 will launch sometime this year. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
