According to a recent Xbox Job ad, it seems that there is a new Halo project in the works.
On the official website of game developer 343 Industries, a job ad was listed for a new producer role in Redmond, Washington. The official job description reads, “343 Industries is looking for a Producer to help develop a new project in the Halo universe.”
This new job ad could possibly mean that there is an unannounced project related to the franchise and being in development right now at the game studio.
According to media outlet GamesRadar, it would be highly unlikely that it would be for upcoming video game Halo Infinite. It is already nearing its final development and probably launching this year so that would be impossible. The only logical explanation would be for a new project related to the Halo series.
Halo Infinite is scheduled to launch sometime in Fall 2021 and will be released on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
