    Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time PS5 Enhancements Detailed

    Game company Activision has revealed some new details about the upcoming PlayStation 5 version of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.

    First and foremost, it will have improved graphics and performance, which is what the PS5 offers from the get go. It will support native 4K targeting 60fps and enhanced 3D audio with compatible headset. Load times will be shorter with the SSD power of the PS5.

    The DualSense controller support will make gameplay more tactile than ever. With the adaptive triggers, players will feel the force of the Neo Cortex’s blaster, Tawna’s Hookshot, Crash’s Jetboard, and the vacuum of the Dingodile. This offers dynamic and immersive play.

    Players can track progress with the Activity Cards feature. It can help track goals in time trials, flashback levels, and boss fights.

    Owning the PS4 version of the game in digital and physical can be upgraded to the PS5 version for free. PS4 digital owners can just navigate to the PS5 version of the game at the PlayStation Store and download it for free. PS4 disc owners need to insert the disc into the PS5.

    Transferring save data from PS4 to PS5 can be done by following these steps:

    • Before starting confirm you have an internet connection and you are logged into your PS account.
    • On your PS4 navigate to the “Select a Save Slot” screen.
    • Select the slot with data you want to transfer to your PS5.
    • Use your controller to select Upload to cloud.
    • You will get a prompt to confirm the upload, select Upload to Cloud.
    • You will get a prompt indicating the upload was successful, click continue to return to the game.
    • On your PS5 navigate to the “Select a Save Slot” screen.
    • Select the slot you want to save your PS4 data to.
    • Use your controller to select Download Cloud Save.
    • You will get a prompt to confirm the download, select Download Cloud Save.
    • You will get a prompt to enter your initials, enter your initials and select Next.
    • You will get a prompt to select a playstyle, select Modern or Retro.
    • You will get a prompt that the download was successful, select continue to return to the game.

    Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will launch on PS5 on March 12. If purchased, it has a price tag of $59.99.
