Crystal Dynamics recently stated that video game Marvel’s Avengers will have a great advantage on PlayStation 5 compared to other platforms.
According to a Crystal Dynamics representative who took to Twitch chat for an open discussion, Marvel’s Avengers on PS5 will be quite different than its previous platforms and its counterpart. The PR rep revealed that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will load faster. The PS5 version specifically will load instantly due to the console’s SSD storage capabilities.
A gameplay footage was showcased during the live broadcast with the PR rep. It demonstrated how it was different than it plays on current-gen platforms. The PR rep stated this specifically” “Many loading screens on PS5 are pretty much instant. It’s VERY fast.”
For some reason, there was no reveal on how gameplay would look like on the Xbox Series X/S version. The PR rep did say that it would like visually the same as the PS5 version. Series S would have a lower resolution though, about 1440p only.
In previous news, Cystal Dynamics explained why they had to increase the XP gain for the game.
Marvel’s Avengers PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions to launch on March 18 together with the new content coming to the game.
