Game company Playground Games has recently revealed new details about Forza Horizon 5 with the highlight of the Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller.
Gamescom 2021 revealed a lot of new stuff of the upcoming racing game like a new gameplay trailer, the covers car reveal trailer, and some new information about it. The biggest highlight though is the one being talked about right now and it is the Forza Horizon 5 Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller.
So, why is this particular controller popular? Well, it has this unique color scheme that many fans would want to have when they get the chance. According to the developers, it was inspired by the fireworks display that would appear in the skies in the game during the Horizon Festival. It has a transparent yellow finish, which is a first for this particular controller series. It features a custom-colored, visible rumble motor and has lighting effects that will play off the Xbox button. The bottom and sides of the controller have these dimple patterned grips, which can be seen on steering wheels in racing cars, while the bumpers and triggers have textured grips.
To sweeten the deal, the new controller will have an exclusive DLC for a Forza edition car, cosmetic item, and a victory emote. Pre-orders for this controller are now available and will be released on November 9, 2021.
Aside from that, the developers also revealed the two cover cars for the game, which are the 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands and the Mercedes-AMG ONE.
Forza Horizon 5 launches November 9, 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC with Standard, Deluxe, and Premium versions. Getting the Premium Add-Ons Bundle will add new DLC in the Premium version and Early Access that starts on November 5, 2021.
