2K Games has recently released a gameplay reveal trailer for their upcoming superhero tactical RPG, Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Developed by Firaxis Games, the studio behind the X-Com series, the game focuses on the Darker Sider of Marvel as the Midnight Suns battle supernatural threats brought on by Hydra and Lilith. The trailer teases the origins of player created character, the Hunter, as well as showcasing what to expect when it comes to their character creation and card based combat system.

About the game (via Steam page)

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a new hero based tactical RPG set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe. The game puts you squarely against demonic forces of the underworld as you team up with and live alongside the Midnight Suns, Earth’s last line of defense.

Through dark magic and science, Hydra revived Lilith, Mother of Demons, to fulfill an ancient prophecy in order bring back her evil master, Chthon. Desperate to fight fire with hellfire, the Avengers bring in the Midnights Suns, young heroes with powers deeply rooted in the supernatural. Together, the team resurrect the Hunter, Lilith’s forsaken child and the only hero known to ever defeat her. In the face of fallen allies and the fate of the world at stake, it will be up to you to rise up against the darkness!

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in March 2022.
